Refunds & Returns Policy — Alpha Pro Trading

Thank you for shopping with Alpha Pro Trading. We want you to be completely satisfied with your furniture purchase. This Refunds & Returns Policy explains our procedures, timeframes, and requirements for returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds. Please read it carefully before placing your order. - Overview
- We accept returns, exchanges, and provide refunds in accordance with the terms below.
- Because furniture is large and/or customized, return options, timelines, and charges vary by product type (in-stock, made-to-order/custom, and clearance).
- All returns must follow the procedures below to be eligible.
- Eligibility
a. In-Stock Items (non-custom)
- Eligible for return within 30 days of delivery.
- Item must be unused, in original condition, and returned with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation (assembly instructions, warranty cards, etc.).
- Items that are assembled, installed, or show signs of wear may be refused or subject to a restocking fee.
b. Made-to-Order / Custom Items
- Custom, made-to-order, or bespoke products (e.g., custom finishes, fabrics, sizes, engraving) are non-returnable and non-refundable unless damaged in transit or defective.
- If you believe a custom item arrived defective or incorrect, contact us immediately and provide photos and order details (see Section 5).
c. Clearance / Final Sale Items
- Clearance, floor models, and marked “Final Sale” items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective.
d. Returns Not Accepted
- Products returned without prior authorization.
- Items returned after the allowable return period.
- Products showing normal wear, misuse, neglect, or improper assembly.
- Upholstered items returned without proper sanitation (if applicable due to local health regulations).
- How to Initiate a Return
- Contact Customer Care within the applicable return period at sales@alphaprotrading.com or [Insert phone number].
- Include your order number, item name/model, reason for return, and photos if the item is damaged or incorrect.
- Do not return items without receiving a Return Authorization (RA) number. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
- Return Shipping & Fees
- For small in-stock items (shippable via parcel carriers): Customer may be responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error (damaged or incorrect item). We recommend using a tracked and insured service.
- For large furniture (freight items): Returns will typically be handled via our logistics partners. Return pickup fees, carrier charges, and restocking fees may apply.
- Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply for returns on bulky or palletized in-stock items that are not defective, to cover handling and repackaging costs. Exact fees will be disclosed when an RA is issued.
- Refunds will be reduced by any applicable return shipping and restocking fees unless the return is due to our error.
- Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
- Inspect your delivery immediately and report visible damage to the carrier and to Alpha Pro Trading within 48 hours of delivery.
- For concealed damage (damage discovered after unpacking), notify us within 7 days of delivery.
- To report damaged/defective/incorrect items: email sales@alphaprotrading.com with your order number, photos of the damage, product serial/model number (if applicable), and a brief description.
- We will assess the claim and, when applicable, offer a replacement, repair, or full refund. We may require photos, video, or return of the item for inspection by our quality team.
- Refund Process & Timing
- Once a return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method. The timing for funds to appear on your statement depends on your card issuer or payment provider.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
- Exchanges
- Exchanges for the same item (different color/finish) are subject to availability. Contact Customer Care to arrange an exchange.
- If you wish to exchange for a different item of equal or greater value, we will process the return and a new order; any price difference must be paid or refunded as applicable.
- Customizations or special orders cannot be exchanged.
- Cancellations & Order Changes
- For in-stock items, orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placement without penalty. After 24 hours, cancellation may be subject to restocking or processing fees if the order has entered fulfillment.
- Made-to-order or custom orders may be canceled only within 24 hours of order confirmation. After that time, cancellations are not accepted because production begins.
- To request cancellation or order changes, contact sales@alphaprotrading.com immediately with your order number.
- Warranty Claims
- Some products carry manufacturer warranties. Warranty claims for defects in materials or workmanship are handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s terms.
- Contact Customer Care with proof of purchase and photos; we will assist in processing warranty claims.
- Returns for Business / Contract Orders
- Commercial or contract orders may have different return/cancellation terms agreed upon in the purchase agreement or quote. Please refer to your contract or contact your sales representative.
- Health & Safety
- For hygienic reasons, certain items (pillows, mattresses, or upholstery, if sealed for health reasons) may not be returnable once unwrapped. Check the product page or ask Customer Care before purchasing.
- International Orders
- For international shipments, returns, duties, taxes, and customs-related fees may apply and are typically the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
